The overall goal of WiN-Kenya is to empower and uplift women in nuclear science and related fields to achieve their full potential.  WiN-Kenya is looking to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations, to create positive change and promote the visionary initiative of fostering the growth and success of women in Kenya, who aspire to explore the vast horizons of nuclear applications.

Membership Categories

Regular Membership

Women In Nuclear And Related Fields
Membership Fee: Ksh 2,000
Shall be restricted to women individuals from nuclear and related fields, upon approval by the Executive Committee, and payment of the prescribed membership fee.

Associate Membership

Supports The Goals And Missions Of The Society
Membership Fee: Ksh 1,500
These shall be individual members who are not eligible for regular membership but support the society’s objectives and activities, upon approval by the Executive Committee, and payment of the prescribed membership fee. Such members shall not enjoy privileges such as voting or holding any Executive position in society.

Affiliate Membership

Organizations that shares the society’s objectives
Membership Fee: Ksh 200,000
Shall be organizations that share the objectives of the society and are ready to contribute to its activities. Representatives of affiliate organizations shall not enjoy privileges such as voting or holding Executive positions

Honorary Membership

Distinguished persons
Free, awarded by WiN-Kenya executive
Shall be given to distinguished persons or those who have rendered valuable service to the Society. Any such person shall normally be proposed by the Executive Committee and be approved by Annual General Meeting. Such members shall not be accorded any voting rights.

Student Membership

Students Undertaking Stem-related Studies
Membership Fee:Ksh 500
Shall be extended to students in nuclear and related fields, upon approval by the Executive Committee, and shall not enjoy privileges such as voting but they will elect a student representative to the executive committee.
