Inspiration session: Dr. Elizabeth Itotia shares her journey to becoming the first Kenyan Radiophamarcist. She recently graduated with a Master of Pharmacy degree from South Africa through scholarship under the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Technical Cooperation programme. Elizabeth’s success story is insightful and empowering to other women in the nuclear field and those considering careers and leadership roles in the industry!

WiN Kenya chapter held its first inaugural Regional (AFRA) Workshop for Future Women Leaders in Nuclear in Africa, 26-28 July 2022 in Mombasa, Kenya. Objectives of the ongoing Women in Nuclear workshop in Kenya were to:-Support talents of women in nuclear science and technology;-Identify and strengthen roles of female scientists in Africa and;-Enhance awareness about role of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Technical Cooperation programme in socio-economic development.
